Coming from Paris, Deauville and Caen, take the A13 and/or the RN 13 (4-lane main road) towards Bayeux. About half a dozen miles after Caen ring road, look out for the official illustrated sign that says « Manoirs et Châteaux du Bessin ». Take the next exit and follow the official Fontaine-Henry castle arrow signs. Journey:20 km (12.5 miles) from Caen – approx. 30 minutes.
Coming from Courseulles-sur-mer, head either towards Reviers or Caen and follow the official Fontaine-Henry castle arrow signs. Journey: 20 km [4.5 to 6.5 miles] – approx. 10 and 12 minutes.
Coming from Bayeux, take the ring road and follow the official Fontaine-Henry castle arrow signs. Journey: 22 km [13.5 miles] – approx. 30 minutes.
Coming from Ouistreham, head towards Caen, then get onto the North ring road of Caen, take Exit N°5 under the C.H.U hospital towards Courseulles-sur-Mer. 3 kilometres [1.8 miles] before Courseulles-sur-mer, follow the official Fontaine-Henry castle arrow signs. Journey: 30 km [18.6 miles] – approx. 40 minutes
From Douvres la Délivrande, head towards Courseulles-sur-mer, and
follow the official Fontaine-Henry castle arrow signs. Journey: 12 km [7.5
miles] – approx. 15 minutes.
